| Yes! I finally got some poetry up for you. =D! Unfortunately, I couldn't put them up sooner because I'd deleted all my poetry off the computer for some stupid reason. But alas! Here they are! Enjoy. ^-^;;
|
The first group of poems are written much like songs. They are complete with choruses and the works. If anyone wants to put music to them, that would be really cool. Anyway, this first group is made up of six pieces of work. They were all written between September 2002 and September 2003. I was going through some particularily rough times during my life. But that's.. not the point. These poems strongly reflect how I felt during those times.
In chronological order:
-x- Rejected --> The first poem I ever wrote. It was written during a time when all my friends seemed non-existant and my parents had some odd resentment to me.
-x- End of the Line --> This was written during, I think, the lowest point in my life. When the book was found and everything started happening. Some people will know what I'm talking about. If you don't, it's okay.
-x- Time After Time --> This was composed when I was going through horrible times with my current boyfriend. I doubted him greatly, and in the end, I was right. He actually had cheated on me. Twice.
-x- Untitled --> I was really confused when I wrote this, hence the name "Untitled." I really didn't know what to think, or do, or say.
-x- No Turning Back --> I finally broke up with that boyfriend. It was quite traumatic. I tried to cheer myself up somehow by writing this poem. It didn't quite work out the way I thought, but at least it made a reasonable poem.
-x- Visions --> Originally titled "Imaginary," until I found out there was actually an Evanescence song by the same name. This poem is quite different from all the others that I'd written previously. It is an angst peom. Into this poem, I basically released into it, all my anger.. sorta. |
